DAYS 8–13 — Steady Daily Feeding

Repeat the Day 7 feeding once a day, same time each day.

What you should observe over this stretch:

  • Reliable rise after each feed (often doubling)
  • Pleasant tangy-yeasty smell (not vinegary, not nail-polish-remover)
  • A network of bubbles visible through the glass
  • A "domed" top that eventually deflates before the next feed

If your starter smells like acetone or alcohol, it's overhungry — feed it sooner or feed twice that day.
